Glucosamine
Glucosamine is a natural sugar produced by your body and found
in a wide variety of foods. It is the essential and principal ingredient
that determines the quantity of proteoglcycan (water-holding)
molecules that are formed in the body. The greater the amount
of glucosamine in the body, the greater the amount of proteoglycans.
The proteoglycans are large, water-binding molecules made up of (both)
proteins and sugars. It is important to understand that it is a major
building block of healthy, vital cartilage.
Glucosamine also stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans
(GAG's) which are important proteins found in cartilage. They serve to
"bind" the water within the cartilage matrix.
Chondroitin
Shark Cartilage provides a source of Chondroitin which
works synergistically with glucosamine to assist in rehabilitating
the cartilage that is damaged in your body.
Studies indicate that the use of shark cartilage seems to "drive"
the glucosamine. Chondroitin Sulphate reduces inflammation
and assists the glucosamine in protecting against future cartilage degeneration.
White Willow Bark Extract - Synflex 1500 Only
White Willow bark extract acts as an anti inflammatory and gives
extra relief from pain.
White Willow Bark contains an ingredient called Salicin. When introduced
into your body, it becomes salicylic acid. In an arthritis product, it
provides one more anti-inflammatory to the formula. As well, it helps
reduce prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation. Although aspirin
was originally derived form acetylsalicylic acid, White Willow Bark is
different. It provides relief without the possible side effects of aspirin.
Bromelain
Bromelaine cleans away the debris in the joints and restores proper
fluid balance. In addition, it helps to inhibit inflammatory compounds
and reduces pain and swelling.
Manganese (Ascorbate)
Ascorbate (Manganese and ascorbic acid) assists your
body with processing the glucosamine. This is a very important ingredient
and one that is missing in nearly every glucosamine product on the market
today.
Yucca
Yucca has a long history in treating arthritis. The root
is rich in sponins that elevate your body's ability to produce cortisone
naturally.
Omega 3 and Omega 6
The Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids
are constituents of fish oils that act as anti-inflammatory
agents. Usually, these products are sold separately in health food stores
as salmon or fish oil. Synflex brings both of these to you in one formula.
Boswellin
Boswellin has been used for centuries in the Indian Ayurvedic
system of medicine to maintain healthy joints. Boswellic
acids improve blood supply to the joints and maintain
the integrity of blood vessels.
At least one study has indicated that boswellic acids may open
up collateral blood circulation to provide adequate blood
supply to the joints. Boswellin has been known to reduce
joint swelling, maintain blood supply to inflamed joints as well
as reduce pain due to stiffness in the joints.
Antioxidant Vitamins ...
Synflex also provides the essential Vitamins A, C, and E. These promote
health and protect against the harmful effect of free radicals.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A (Beta carotene) is essential for growth
and repair of body tissues and it aids in bone formation.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) produces a mobilization of
your body's self-defense mechanisms, which assists your immune
system to overcome disease.
Vitamin E
And finally, Vitamin E (Tocopheral) is an antioxidant,
which acts to protect red blood cells and unsaturated fatty acids from
oxidation damage. It also assists your body in maintaining healthy membrane
tissue.
Synflex contains ingredients that are found in no other
products on the market today. Our unique liquid formula, our high quality
pharmaceutical quality Glucosamine HCL and Sulphate,
and our many complementing ingredients have resulted in a formula like
no other that not only works, but works fast.
